Job Description
LGC have an exciting new opportunity for an Investment Operations professional with financial crime experience to join the newly formed Operations team.
The role is London based but the team all work flexibly, usually coming into the office a couple of times a week, though most work can be done from anywhere.
In this role you will initially focus on ensuring financial crime due diligence activities are robust, though this will quickly evolve into playing a key role in building new processes and procedures for onboarding new investments/investors. It is envisioned that this individual should progress to become the 1st line manager looking after Investment Operations for LGC, which will include financial crime.
We are looking for someone who can adjust their work style and processes to different projects. As the investment portfolio is varied there is currently no ’standard’ approach when it comes to this work so you must adapt to different investment propositions and define the process for similar cases in the future.
Ideally you will have had some exposure to alternative assets, so you have a better understanding of the investments this team is exposed to.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Excellent understanding of Financial Crime due diligence processes
- Awareness of investment onboarding/process activities
- Process design and implementation
- Process documentation
- Experienced in leading teams
