Succeeding at L&G

We’re relentlessly focused on helping our customers. So everyone who works for Legal & General must be relentlessly focused on helping them too. This means really getting to know your customers, trying to see things from their point of view, and keeping them front of mind when making decisions. We’re ambitious too, always striving to improve our business and our products, no matter how successful we become. We take ownership, shaping the future of our own careers alongside the business. And because the lives of our customers are always changing, we adapt with them, having the flexibility and open mind to evolve alongside the industry.

Ambition

We want to evolve from a successful company to an extraordinary one. To make that happen, we need people who can set high expectations – for themselves and for the business.

You’ll be someone who seeks out opportunities to make positive changes, rather than dwelling on the challenges you face. You’ll be someone who doesn’t just hope for a brighter future, but actually finds ways to bring it about.

Diversity & Inclusion

We’re proud to have such a diverse workforce at Legal & General.

But we also know there is always more we can do. We want to see more women in senior roles, encourage more people to continue their careers past retirement age, support more parents in returning to work and maintain and grow an environment where all people, whatever their age, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation, feel supported and able to thrive. The following are just some of the ways we’re currently acting on our commitment to diversity in our offices and across our organisation.
